You want to take experimental, easy to damage, and very temperamental VR cameras up a wall in Yosemite? Of course I do.

The YouTube representative who handed the cameras off to the team looked me up and down and said "you were voted the most likely crew to bring these back to us damaged."

 

In partnership with OutsideTV, Adidas Terrex, the National Park Service, Google and climbers Kevin Jorgeson and Ben Rueck we took those cameras up Yosemite's Higher Cathedral Spire and filmed the climb like it's never been done before.
